ADVOCACY

Before, during, and after legislative session, the VOCAL Advocacy Team educates legislators about the needs and interests of people who live with a mental health challenge in Virginia. Our team monitors legislation under consideration and carries the message of VOCAL’s values, mission, and agenda to the public and our law makers.

The main objective for the Recovery Education and Creative Healing (REACH) training program is to provide regular opportunities for Virginia’s peer workforce to engage in education, training, and empowerment activities.
