Anyone who identifies as having lived experience with a mental health challenge may apply. Challenges include but are not limited to post-partum depression, anxiety, ADHD, depression, OCD, etc. Individuals do not have to be currently experiencing challenges. Anyone with a co-occurring challenge is also welcome to apply.
VOCAL is especially interested in prospective Board members with experience in finance, human resource, fundraising, marketing, or communications. Anyone with lived experience is welcome to apply.
Please be aware that there is high interest in these positions, and applying does not guarantee a place on the Board. VOCAL is a state-wide mental health advocacy and education nonprofit. We work to organize and empower individuals to create broad-scale social change by transforming individual lives, local communities, and the mental health service delivery system.
